Anche l'ipod nano di seconda generazione canta con rockbox

E' questa e' grossa, reggetevi! Oramai questo subject e' noto ai piu',
praticamente, un altro lettore che canta! E' un apparecchio oramai fuori
produzione, pero' ve ne sono stati tanti in giro, anche comperati per
sbaglio, magari ve ne trovate uno tra le mani e quindi, potrebbe rinascere!
Si tratta dell'iPod Nano di seconda generazione, ricordo che tanti ai tempi
li comperarono pensando che fossero compatibili, pero' poi hanno fatto
l'amara scoperta. Naturalmente il tutto e' ancora da sistemare,
l'installazione e' complessa, pero' sicuramente vi saranno sviluppi.
Il problema e' che i firmare Apple di quel lettore erano criptati, quindi
difficilmente disassemblabili, pero' hanno scoperto una falla e da li....
Apriti lettore!
Bene, un altro muro che cade, finalmente!

This was a minute or so of "Date with the Night" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

The port to the 2nd Generation Nano is still in the early stages - the
only way to run code is to upload it via a USB cable after installing
the "iBuggerLoader" Notes exploit from the linux4nano project.

Currently only the bootloader build of Rockbox compiles, not Rockbox
itself, but we do have working LCD, buttons, backlight, and now audio.

The 2nd gen Nano contains a very similar processor to the Meizu M3,
which Bertrik reported audio playback on a few weeks ago - my test code
is based on that, but the 2nd gen Nano has a WM8975 audio code (the same
as the 1st gen Nano and some other supported ipods). So most of the
credit goes to him, along with "TheSeven" from the linux4nano project,
who actually got audio playing first.
